Parfoom: Smoky - Marly Oud

Smoky perfume is a bold statement in the form of a fragrance, beginning with bergamot, grapefruit, and pink pepper, followed by a heart of toffee, orange blossom, almond, and raspberry, on a deep base of sandalwood, vetiver, oud, and patchouli. The story behind Smoky: I was once wearing perfume and incense in the summer, and my friends commented that incense isn't suitable for summer, citing reasons like heat changing the scent or it being too heavy. While incense is better in winter, it's fine for summer with light perfumes. This inspired me to create a summer/winter perfume that smells like incense but isn't. Something sweet for summer events and strong for winter. We worked with our partners in France and created SMOKY. I wore it to the same gathering in the summer, and the first one to comment asked what kind of incense I was wearing that worked for summer.
