Rifaaqat offers a balanced combination of spiciness, resinous warmth, and woody depth. The interplay between the pepper notes, olibanum, saffron, and the comforting elements of vanilla, suede, and cedar suggests a versatile and sophisticated scent. This composition might be well-suited for colder seasons or evening wear, providing a refined and alluring presence.

Rifaaqat is designed by Paris Corner as a clone of YSL's Babycat, and it stands out as a successful inspiration. The initial opening may be a bit harsh, with pronounced pepper notes, but as it settles, the fragrance transforms beautifully. The dry down reveals a lovely, powdery vanilla that gives it a distinctive and appealing character. This perfume has good longevity, lasting a solid 6-7 hours, and it projects strongly, especially right after application. I highly recommend this one not only as a clone but also as an affordable perfume in its own right. However, much like the original Babycat, this isn't a perfume for everyone, so I suggest sampling it before making a purchase. I bought Rifaqaat from the Paris Corner store in Dubai for AED 60.
